Aftercare

Looking after your feet

After minor nail surgery you will be given a sterile dressing pack and clear instructions for daily saline soaks. Most people return to school or work the next day and to sport within two weeks.

Common questions

Will the nail look normal afterwards?
After partial nail avulsion the nail simply looks slightly narrower, most people barely notice.
Is the procedure painful?
The toe is fully numbed with local anaesthetic so the procedure itself is pain-free.
