The decisions that matter
Panel count and stacking direction do more for how a bi-fold lives than any other choice. An odd number of panels lets you have a traffic door for everyday use, so you are not folding the whole set to take the bins out. Stacking to the side with the least furniture keeps the terrace usable.
The other decision is the threshold. A weathered threshold sheds water reliably; a flush threshold looks better and needs a properly detailed drainage channel outside. We will tell you which your site can take.
Installation
01
Structural check
We confirm the lintel and the opening are square and can carry the set before order.
02
Threshold detail
Drainage, damp-proof course and the finished floor level agreed with you or your builder.
03
Fit and set-up
Track levelled, rollers set, gear adjusted so every panel runs with the same effort.
04
Handover
We show you the running-gear adjustment and the annual clean, so it stays smooth.
