Maximum glass, minimum frame
A 35mm interlock and panes up to three metres wide. When the doors are shut, you are looking at the garden rather than at aluminium.
Why a slider often beats a bi-fold
A bi-fold is a stack of frames. Closed, you see every one of them. A slider on the same opening shows two vertical lines and a 35mm interlock, which on a wide rear elevation is the difference between a window and a wall of frame.
The trade-off is that you can open at most half to two-thirds of the aperture, depending on the panel count. For rooms used all year with a view worth keeping, that is usually the right compromise - and the running gear on a large slider, once bedded properly, is the smoothest thing in the range.
