Simple, and that is the appeal
French doors have no track, no rollers and no folding gear. There is very little to go out of adjustment, which is why they still make sense in a rear wall that will not be touched again for twenty years.
With glazed side lights either side, a 1.8m pair reads as a 3m opening while only a 1.8m gap actually swings. In a small garden where a bi-fold would eat the patio, that is the practical answer.

- Open in or out, with either leaf as the master
- Glazed side lights and top lights to widen the opening visually
- Georgian or astragal bars to match existing windows
- Low-threshold option for level access
